so sick of being used
one day i'm yesterdays news
the next day i'm needed
after i do my good deed
i seem to always get left in the dust
no good deed goes unpunished
but does karma really exist
i have yet to experience good karma
for everything seems to be going wrong
nonetheless the energizer bunny keeps hopping along
singing a duet alone
enjoying the inaudible harmony
but wishing to learn a fresh melody
to share with a choir
full with those who cherish me
